Overdose Prevention & Naloxone Training

Is your agency prepared when an overdose happens? 

In response to the overdose crisis in Toronto, The Works at Toronto Public Health is providing training for City and service agency staff to respond to opioid overdose onsite.   Staff will learn about the signs of opioid overdose, risk factors, how to monitor spaces where overdose might occur, and how to respond when an overdose happens, including how to administer naloxone.  Policies and procedures will be discussed, and templates will be available.
