2022 Provincial Election: TDIN Toolkit, election resources, events & advocacy

The Ontario Provincial Election is Thursday June 2, 2022!
Below are resources to help drop-in participants participate in the election and support the issues they care about.

1. TDIN Election Toolkit for Drop-ins: download the 3 PDFs at the bottom of this page!

The toolkit put together by TDIN’s Advocacy Committee looks at strategies for engaging program participants and community members in voting and provides other valuable information about “how to” participate in the upcoming election.

What’s included in the toolkit:

• Ideas for Drop-in Engagement
• Certificate of Identity and Residence form
• Printable Provincial Elections Brochure

Where the parties stand on:

• Affordable housing, tenant rights, health, mental health, social assistance, climate crisis, and sustainability of non-profits.

• Affordable housing, social assistance and dental care  (This version is for Davenport, but the material is editable: add photos and names of your local candidates and share with voters in your riding!)
• Decent wages and working conditions
• The environment

3. Election-related Events-
