A community of drop-ins and allied members throughout Toronto
Parkdale Activity-Recreation Centre (PARC) submitted an Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment application to permit a 10-storey mixed-use building consisting of 141 affordable rental housing units, including rental replacement units and improved community space on two of their properties.
While PARC has been facing some opposition from a small group of neighbours over the past several months, they have also seen strong support from community partners and general public who understand the importance of supportive housing across the city.
On July 8th, the Toronto and East York Community Council is holding the Statutory Public Meeting on PARC’s plan to redevelop. This is agenda item TE34.12.
Parkdale Activity-Recreation Centre (PARC) needs support from partner agencies and the public to send letters supporting affordable housing directly to Community Council.
