A community of drop-ins and allied members throughout Toronto
The Toronto Drop-in Network (TDIN) is grounded in a long history of collective action, collaboration and community care within Toronto’s drop-in sector. For decades, member organizations have worked together to respond to evolving needs, building a network rooted in trust, shared learning and mutual support. As we approach this next chapter, we reaffirm our deep commitment to peer employment as a vital practice within the sector. The leadership, expertise and lived experience of peers strengthen our services, inform our advocacy and ensure that the voices of those most impacted remain at the center of our work.We also acknowledge the increasing complexity facing the drop-in sector. Drop-ins remain essential spaces of safety, connection and dignity, yet organizations are navigating these pressures with limited resources.TDIN is moving forward with a lens of generosity recognizing the importance of compassion, flexibility and solidarity in how we engage with our membership and the communities we serve. This lens calls us to share knowledge openly, support meaningfully and respond with care in times of uncertainty. In this context, TDIN remains committed to strengthening the sector through advocacy, capacity-building and collective voice. Together, we will continue to adapt, respond and lead - ensuring that drop-in services remain responsive, inclusive and grounded in the realities of the communities we serve.
